The Athletics Academic Enhancement Center (AAEC) is intended to provide an atmosphere conductive to the enhancement of academic skills necessary for students to successfully matriculate at JSU.
 
Academic support services such as tutoring and supervised study tables are also provided; as well as career planning, monitoring of eligibility status, and a host of other guidance and advisory services.
 
The AAEC will continue to provide proper academic advisement through joint efforts with the Division of Undergraduate Studies; and to work closely with all persons involved in the students’ academic and athletic futures to ensure success.
